To All My Clients:
As most of you know by now, I am in the process of retiring! I would not even contemplate doing this if I had not found a wonderful person to take over my practice. Her name is Sophie Zheng and she is basically younger and smarter than I am. She has her masters in accounting and she scored the second highest score on the CPA exam when she sat for it. She has been a partner in a local CPA firm for the last five years. Her clientele and philosophies regarding how to take care her clients are remarkably similar to mine.
This is a lengthy process, and I will be working through tax season this year with Sophie. The only big difference is that the office has moved to Greenway Plaza. The phone numbers are the same, but you can also reach me at the new main line 713-871-2370.
I know it seems that I am too young to retire, but as you probably know my husband and I have lost five close family members over the last five years. We have spent a lot of time in hospital rooms and nursing homes and now we want to spend some time traveling and enjoying what we have. I'm also burned out and starting to feel overwhelmed; so I hope you understand my decision and will give Sophie an opportunity to prepare your taxes.
